Yesterday, RO2 Admins said there will be server maintenance and I was waiting for the whole day. But after that maintenance I can’t even start my Ragnarok2 Updater anymore. It’s stucked at 6 Bars zzzzz

I was having troubles and searching for a solution for more than 8 hours, and finally it’s solved now. All you have to do is -

1. First goes to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and copy hosts file to Desktop
2. Open that copied host file with your favorite textEditor
3. Add code below in that host file

202.76.225.179 patch.playro2.com # RO2 Patch Server need confirmation

it should be like that.

After adding codes into host

Then save host file and copy back to etc directory. It will ask you override or not, just override it. Okay, here can be a question, when we just dun edit host file in etc folder? We can’t, it’s permission denied to edit for most users.

Then, try loading your RO2 Updater and it will be working back normally.

I am currently playing at Singapore server, so I am not sure about other clients. If you are having problem with updating client patch, try manually too.

I spent 4 whole nights to download the client, since it’s not Okay to download all 4GB sized installer in one day, I mean with my connection speed here. Rangarok Online 2 : Legend of the Second

The game I’m playing Rangarok Online 2 : Legend of The Second is a remake of Ragnarok Online 2: The Gate of the World, the MMORPG created by Gravity Corp. of South Korea and is the sequel to the popular MMORPG, Ragnarok Online. One reason I loves to play ro2 is most gameplay and chracters are similiar with Sword Art Online . Not like World of Warcraft, you can only learn one profession (job in here), and you can’t unlearn it (may be I still haven’t found it yet). For a beginner, you can choose your gender and classes (five in total, depends which role you loves to play), but you can change and improves to advance class. I meant, for example, if you are a Swordsman, you can change to Warrior or Knight at class trainer, when you get to level 25. You can get mount at level 10. And also currency in RO2 is Zeny and Rufi. Just like from the manhwa. -.-

Another reason that I likes is, it’s 2nd passcode system, and thanks to that, it won’t be easy to access to game even if you can login. Dungeons may look weak at first, and you can complete it solo, but without Teamwork, you can’t achieve in higher level dungeons.

Last week, we released a new open source CMS named “RebornCMS” based on FuelPHP Framework, exactly in November 23, 2012. We all were very happy that our very first development is now online and running up! We spent lots of time, lots of studies, and money on it. When, FuelPHP retweeted about it on Twitter, our emotion was on top. We just created it, not for Money, not for Pride, but for the Name, and also want to learn back from experienced contributors.

This morning, suddenly I heard that RebornCMS repo is dropped from Github by our Lead Developer, Nyan Lynn Htut. He said, due to our codes, we got many issues for that. A lots of problem happened, and yes, we hurt. Even FuelPHP created a blog named “Let’s right a wrong” and most words are killing me, killing us.

It is therefore painful to see that this CMS was not created with the respect for other developers we hope to see, but in fact copied from PyroCMS, a well established and respected Open Source CMS.

We hereby want to make it absolutely clear that we, as the FuelPHP development team, do not promote or condone this.

These really are severe for a newborn in Intl Web Development like us. Not like you guys, study and learning in Developing Country, especially in Myanmar, has a lot of difficulties and problems. You guys can watch and learn a video screencasts on streaming on ease, while we spent most of our time just downloading that screencasts by downloading with 2kbps download speed, and yes, that’s really happening to us. Why don’t try streaming? You must be kidding!? How can we? With that 2kbps speed? You must be joking around! Only the offline learning is the best solution and way for our development. Geez . . . I just don’t want to blame on that poor education system in our country.

Yes, we do learn, we do respect the seniors, especially THEM from FuelPHP Developers, and guess we made something wrong with the codes, copied from PyroCMS. But WE NEVER STEAL IT and make it our own. Like they said, we learn, we respect, and we also cared not to become something like that, and now it’s really happening. I do accept that “Hey Noob, you are still lack the skill”. Why don’t you just flag what’s wrong here and guide us to right a wrong?

Well . . . as a name “Reborn”, how can we reborn, if we haven’t died once? No matter what, we will just born back, definitely!!

SCANDAL has announced more details for their new album titled “Queens are trumps – Kirifuda wa Queen”. The album is scheduled to have 12 tracks including their singles – “HARUKAZE” and “Taiyo Scandalous”. It comes in three editions including a special Limited with special packaging with deluxe hardcover photo book. The girls’ fourth album is set to hit stores September 26th. Yoosh! that’s what I was w8ting form.

The band is having a busy year having released a best hits album “Show” back in March and singles “HARUKAZE” in February, “Taiyo Scandalous” in July, and upcoming single “Pin Heel Surfer” on September 12th.
